Purpose<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These general terms and conditions govern the use of the CULTABLE website and the booking of and participation in events organised under the CULTABLE brand in Belgium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Any booking implies the participant&#039;s acceptance of these general terms and conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. The CULTABLE concept<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CULTABLE creates experiences that bring together culture, gastronomy and encounters in museums, art centres, exhibitions and other cultural or heritage venues in Belgium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each edition is a unique experience, organised for a limited number of participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A CULTABLE evening may include a privileged visit of a venue or exhibition, a meeting with artists, curators, managers or other speakers, and a dinner held at the heart of the venue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The content, venue, speakers, chef, menu, times and the various services may vary from one edition to another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The specific details of each event are set out on the website and\/or on the corresponding booking page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Organiser<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CULTABLE events are organised by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">YELLOW LIFE SRL<br>406 av Brugmann, 1180 Uccle<br>Company \/ VAT number: BE1037246635<br>E-mail: info@yellowlife.be<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CULTABLE is a brand and\/or concept operated and registered by YELLOW LIFE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Booking<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participation in a CULTABLE evening is subject to prior booking, within the limit of available places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A booking only becomes final after receipt of full payment and issue of the booking confirmation by means of a QR code or a voucher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once payment has been confirmed, the participant receives by e-mail a personal QR code giving access to the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Access to the CULTABLE evening will only be possible upon presentation of this QR code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CULTABLE reserves the right to refuse access to anyone unable to present a valid booking or the corresponding QR code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Price and payment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prices are shown in euros (\u20ac), all taxes included, unless otherwise stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The applicable price is the one displayed at the time of booking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The price only covers the services mentioned on the presentation page of the event concerned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Payment is made using the payment methods offered at the time of booking and through the secure payment provider used by CULTABLE, in particular Mollie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A booking is only confirmed once payment has been fully validated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If payment is refused, interrupted or not completed, no place is guaranteed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. QR code and access control<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each validated booking gives rise to a QR code sent to the e-mail address provided at the time of booking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The participant is responsible for the accuracy of the e-mail address provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The QR code is the access ticket to the event and must be presented, in digital or printed form, upon arrival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A QR code can only be used once, unless otherwise stated for a booking covering several participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Any reproduction, fraudulent resale or unauthorised use of a QR code may result in access to the event being refused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7. Cancellation by the participant<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Given the nature of CULTABLE events, the limited number of places and the commitments made to venues, chefs, caterers and other partners, any confirmed booking is final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unless otherwise stated at the time of booking, tickets can neither be cancelled nor refunded if the participant is unable to attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The participant may, however, transfer their booking to another person, provided they inform CULTABLE in advance where the terms of the event so require.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8. Right of withdrawal<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CULTABLE events are leisure services provided on a specific date or during a specific period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Where the conditions laid down by Belgian and European consumer protection legislation are met, the right of withdrawal applicable to certain distance sales does not apply to this type of booking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participants are therefore invited to check the date, time, venue and number of places carefully before proceeding with payment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">9. Cancellation or modification by CULTABLE<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CULTABLE does its utmost to organise the event in accordance with the announced programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Circumstances beyond its control may nevertheless require the event to be adapted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CULTABLE reserves the right in particular to change the programme, menu, chef, speakers, order of activities, times or certain elements of the experience where necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Such changes do not automatically give rise to a refund where they do not substantially alter the nature of the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If CULTABLE cancels the event entirely, participants will be informed as soon as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Depending on the circumstances, CULTABLE may offer a refund of the ticket or its transfer to another edition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">10. Force majeure<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CULTABLE cannot be held liable for the cancellation, postponement or modification of an event resulting from force majeure or from a circumstance reasonably beyond its control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This may include in particular: administrative or exceptional closure of the venue, natural disaster, fire, major security problem, strike, significant disruption to transport, epidemic or pandemic, decision of a public authority, unforeseeable unavailability of the venue or any other circumstance reasonably preventing the event from taking place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CULTABLE will inform participants as soon as possible and communicate the terms applicable to the booking concerned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">11. Times and late arrival<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participants are asked to respect the time indicated on their booking confirmation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Certain parts of the experience, in particular guided tours, meetings or talks, may begin at a precise time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the event of late arrival, CULTABLE cannot guarantee access to the full programme or the possibility of joining the group immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Late arrival or absence of the participant does not give rise to any refund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">12. Menu, allergies and dietary requirements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CULTABLE evenings offer a menu designed specifically for each edition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Where an option is provided for this purpose at the time of booking, the participant must state their food allergies or intolerances and any dietary information requested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CULTABLE passes this information on to the chef, caterer or service provider concerned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite the precautions taken, CULTABLE cannot guarantee the complete absence of traces of allergens in the kitchens or preparations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participants with a severe allergy must report it when booking and, if necessary, contact CULTABLE directly before the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Requests made late or on the day itself may not necessarily be taken into account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">13. Alcoholic beverages<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Certain CULTABLE evenings may include or offer alcoholic beverages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The sale and service of alcohol comply with the applicable Belgian legislation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CULTABLE and its service providers reserve the right to refuse to serve alcohol where they consider it necessary, in particular for safety reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each participant remains responsible for their own consumption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">14. Conduct and respect for venues<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CULTABLE events take place in particular in museums, art centres, heritage buildings, exhibitions and venues housing sometimes fragile works or installations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each participant undertakes to respect the venues, the works, the furniture, the other participants, the artists, the teams and the instructions given by CULTABLE or by the host venue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Any dangerous, aggressive or disrespectful behaviour, or behaviour likely to damage the venue or the works, may lead to immediate exclusion from the event, without refund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The participant may be held liable for any damage they personally cause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">15. Photographs and videos<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Photographs and videos may be taken during CULTABLE events in order to document the evenings and to communicate about the concept.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This content may be used in particular on the website, social networks and communication materials of CULTABLE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Where a person is clearly the main identifiable subject of a photograph or video, the rules on image rights continue to apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anyone who does not wish to appear in an identifiable way in content produced by CULTABLE is invited to inform the team on site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">16. Personal belongings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each participant remains responsible for their personal belongings throughout the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Except in the event of fault attributable to the organiser, CULTABLE cannot be held liable for the loss, theft or damage of personal belongings left unattended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">17. Liability<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CULTABLE undertakes to implement the reasonable means necessary for the proper organisation of its events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CULTABLE works with various independent partners: cultural venues, chefs, caterers, producers, suppliers, artists, speakers and technical service providers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CULTABLE&#039;s liability cannot be incurred beyond what is provided for by the applicable legislation and cannot be excluded or limited where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">18. Intellectual property<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The CULTABLE brand, its graphic identity, texts, photographs, videos, editorial concepts and communication content are protected by the applicable intellectual property rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unless prior authorisation has been given, their reproduction, commercial exploitation, modification or substantial distribution is prohibited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The works exhibited during the events remain the property of their respective authors or rights holders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participation in a CULTABLE event does not confer any right to exploit these works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">19. Personal data<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Personal data provided at the time of booking are used in particular to process payment, manage the booking, and send the QR code and practical information about the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They are processed in accordance with the applicable personal data protection legislation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Technical service providers, in particular the payment or ticketing provider, may process certain data where this is necessary to perform their services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The detailed terms of personal data processing are set out in the privacy policy of the CULTABLE website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">20. Communication<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By making a booking, the participant agrees to receive the communications strictly necessary for the organisation of the booked event: confirmation, QR code, practical information, any changes and post-event communications directly related to their participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Subscription to commercial communications or to a newsletter, where offered, is subject to separate consent in accordance with the applicable legislation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">21. Complaints<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Any question or complaint concerning a booking or an event may be sent to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CULTABLE \/ YELLOW LIFE<br>E-mail: info@yellowlife.be<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To allow prompt handling, the participant is asked to state their name, the event concerned and their booking reference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">22. Amendment of the general terms and conditions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CULTABLE may amend these general terms and conditions in order to take account in particular of changes to its services or to legislation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The conditions applicable to a booking are those in force at the time the booking is made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">23. Applicable law<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These general terms and conditions are governed by Belgian law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the event of a dispute, the parties will first seek an amicable settlement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Failing agreement, the dispute will be submitted to the competent courts in accordance with the applicable legal rules, in French.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the event of any discrepancy between this translation and the French version, the French version shall prevail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">24.
